Milk Run


Did a Milk run today. Had to take a load of instructors for SWCC to the fuel farm. SWCC is in the middle of a 24 hr training evolution it ends their section on ACB/PBL phase. It wasn't a scheduled op but since I needed the stick time and they haven't pissed me off lately, unlioke SQT, I figured why not. Normally they simply drive a truck there and switch out. However last cycle there was a jumper on the bridge that screwed up they're entire timeline. The trip up and back were without incident. I asked one of the instuctors to cast off. When the line aboard he jokingly made the status report. It appears one of their student made some such report that the mooring line was onboard when he had cast off during an earlier evolution and the insructors thought this was humorous. I knew he was joking but forgot that none of these guys had ever seen a ship before so I rogered up that all lines were on deck aye, and that we were underway shift colors. I don't think they got the joke.
