Well this was a fun weekend. I wanted to go snowboarding this weekend. I figured with all this rain over the past weeks their should some snow on them there hills, but it would seem that God had other plans. To begin with Rock Boot Camp starts next week and I'm going to be a facilitator so I had to attend training. I thought they were going give me information on what will be put out so I could go over it and get to know it. It was actually about how to be a facilitator. I gone through most of this before. I was briefed informally on the proper way to run a small group when I took the plunge, and again during different leadership trainings, so I really wasn't learning anything new. Of course if I decided to skip training and go to the hills instead I don't think I would have made it. After training I had to go to the Gas Station to inflate my tires. I've had a slow leak in my front left tire since before Christmas stand down. While inflated the tire I descovered that the lining was starting to show through the side walls. I was hoping that the tire would last until Monday but not 30 second after I notice the lining the tire pop with an deafening bang. According to an on looker the guy next to me jumped a couple of feet at the noise. I heard the bystander laugh from 20 ft away, that is why I knew about the guy next to jumping because he wanted to make sure I knew he wasn't laughing at me.
