yeah, today was so cool. It all started normal enough, I hung out around the shop trying to keep people busy with the amount of people we had. I sent three people to help go fetch boats from Pendleton. The SDV people brought their op down to Ballast point because the weather up north made the sea state a little outside of safe for a training op. Gip strapped down the 12 down for transfer to an outside entity for repairs. Then I headed out for the SDV brief for that day. I didn't have to, I mean my SDV Ops were last week, somehow I was introduced as the POC for these evolution so I figured that it would be better that they saw only one face than diffferent faces. Good idea, bad idea, whatever, When I returned to the building Coult and bruce were leaving, only person left was Koul. Right when I entered the phone rang. It was Dybis, he was one of the people sent to bring the trucks down from Pendleton, he was telling me that they had trashed the boat. In my minds eye I could see they forgot to strap down the boat when they left up north and now it had slipped off the trailer while they were on the freeway. Actually it was almost as fun. Suom was transiting through the S-turn past downtown when he lost control of the vehicle, easy ehough when the boat is heavier that the truck, and jackknifed on the 5. The truck ended up pointing the wrong way in the number one lane, and the trailer was halfway over the divider. Knapp later joked that we made second in the sig alerts for that day. Because of us people had to wait 45 minutes in bumper to bumper to get where their going. The 78 beat us out 7 minutes.
