I have the crud. It was worst last night, had to take Nyquil to get some sleep. Tell you what it sure was an experiance. Yup, I couldn't go to bed right away because my head was so stuffed up I had a hard time breathing, a condition lessened by remaining in an upright position. So I stayed up surfing the web until the medicine kicked. I could feel the affects of the medicine by being disoriented. My spatial memory was starting to get screwy, not as bad the time I had an ear infection mind you, but I had to keep reminding myself the door to the patio was not in the kitchen. It was about that time I decided the medicine taken affect nicely and it was time for bed.
Today my sinuses weren't as bad but I decided to take it easy. I kept myself SIQ most of the day leaving to check the mail and when I finally just had to get out, I may be a hermit but being locked away all day without T.V. is too much.
The Television is off because it stops production. Whenever that bastard is on I end up flat on my ass watching the damn thing instead getting stuff done. I have to will myself to get stuff done.
I noticed lately that my clock is set wierd. Lately I am more awake and able to get working late at night. During the day I may be awake but I would but lethargic. I can start jobs but have to sit down, or leave it undone. Some would attribute this to being lazy or disorganize and I would discredit this outright, but I would have to point out that lazy and disorganized are character flaws that know no time slot. But for me these two chracter flaws are more prominent during the day light hours. When I was still attached to NSWC I was always prone to night ops than morning. At first my excuse was night ops required me to come in later which meant I didn't have to deal with the khaki. Later I just got honest and said I just prefered going home late that coming in early. Around the World, 3rd phase FTX, I'm your man. Special Op requiring 5 dys of being underway at night(SDV, Grp Combat Swimmer Course) that's for me.
It happened again!
